Quick answer
WARDOGS cash persists between normal matches, but seasonal cash and XP reset at season end. Remaining cash is planned to convert into Gold Bars, while Gold Bars and cosmetics remain permanent. Early pre-alpha cash is a separate test boundary and should not be treated as launch carryover.
What wipes and what persists?
| Progress type | Current reading |
|---|---|
| Cash between ordinary matches | Persists during the season. |
| Purchased equipment after death | Lost with that life. |
| Cash at season end | Resets after automatic Gold Bar conversion. |
| XP at season end | Resets. |
| Gold Bars | Persist permanently. |
| Cosmetics | Persist permanently. |
| Player Skills | Planned as long-term progression, details still developing. |
| Pre-alpha cash | Does not carry into the full game. |
Why does this matter for spending?
During a season, cash is your practical battlefield resource. Near a known reset, conversion and long-term value become more important. Without live exchange rates, caps, and season timing, no one can calculate a perfect cash strategy yet.
Practical read
Season length, conversion rate, rounding, caps, Vault interactions, account transfer rules, and version 1.0 persistence need official or live-build evidence.
