Quick answer
WARDOGS Twitch Drops require the correct Steam and Twitch accounts to be linked through the official WARDOGS account portal, then progress must be earned on an eligible live Twitch stream and claimed through Twitch.
Drops and game access are different. A Twitch reward is a campaign reward, while Steam Playtest access, preorder access, and Early Access purchase are separate access routes.
What is the safe claim flow?
- Open the official WARDOGS account portal.
- Link the Steam account that owns or will use WARDOGS.
- Link the Twitch account used for viewing.
- Watch a live WARDOGS stream that Twitch marks as Drops Enabled.
- Check progress in Twitch Drops & Rewards.
- Claim the reward before the campaign claim window closes.
Start from official account and Twitch routes before entering Steam credentials or linking accounts.
What should I check before watching?
A stream title is only the starting signal. Confirm that Twitch shows Drops Enabled, a campaign panel, or progress in your Drops inventory. Live viewing usually matters; VODs, replays, and clips follow the campaign rules.
Only one eligible campaign may earn progress at a time under Twitch's general Drops behavior, so check that WARDOGS is the campaign moving.
What if progress or rewards are missing?
| Problem | First check |
|---|---|
| No progress | Correct Twitch account, live eligible stream, Drops Enabled label. |
| Progress stuck | Other campaign stealing progress, muted/background behavior, account mismatch. |
| Reward unlocked but not claimed | Twitch Drops & Rewards claim button. |
| Twitch claimed but game missing item | Steam/Twitch link status and delivery delay. |
| Wrong Steam account | Fix account link before claiming future rewards. |
